YOU SHOULD KNOW HOW MUCH STIMULUS PAYMENTS YOU RECEIVED. THIS WAS IN EARLY 2021. MOST PEOPLE RECEIVED $1400 FOR EVERYBODY IN THE HOUSEHOLD (This is not taxable income and does not lower your refund but you may be entitled to additional stimulus)

YOU NEED TO KNOW THE EXACT AMOUNT OF ADVANCED CHILD TAX CREDITS YOU RECEIVED. MOST PEOPLE RECEIVED 6 EQUAL PAYMENTS BETWEEN JULY AND DECEMBER.

 

COPY OF ALL 1099’S RECEIVED

1099 FROM THE STATE IF YOU RECEIVED UNEMPLOYMENT BENEFITS

INTEREST & DIVIDEND INCOME
MORTGAGE INTEREST STATEMENT
PROPERTY TAXES
-These might be listed on your Mortgage statement if paid through an escrow account.

IF YOU HAVE INSURANCE THROUGH HEALTHCARE.GOV BRING YOUR 1095-A

CONTRIBUTIONS/DONATIONS LISTING (FOR TAX YEAR 2021 YOU CAN TAKE A $600 DEDUCTION FOR DONATIONS EVEN IF YOU DON’T ITEMIZE)

MEDICAL EXPENSES (IF VERY SIGNIFICANT. MEDICAL EXPENSES HAVE TO EXCEED 7.5% OF YOUR HOUSEHOLD INCOME BEFORE THEY START COUNTING TOWARDS YOUR ITEMIZED DEDUCTIONS)
